Wednesday Nov 20, 2024
Wednesday Nov 20, 2024
Tonight at The Journey we explored Cultivating Community and Friendships as Adults & Parents—a heartfelt discussion about why we need friendships and how to build healthy, mutually supportive relationships that align with our values and life stages.
Drawing from the story of David & Jonathan (1 Sam. 19-20), we learned:
True friends advocate for and warn each other in love.
Friendship starts within—emotional health allows us to nurture meaningful connections.
Setting boundaries isn’t selfish; it’s necessary for healthy relationships.
Communication is key—be clear about your expectations and boundaries.
Friendships evolve with life seasons, and that’s okay.
Looking to connect? Start by reflecting on your values and interests, whether it’s volunteering, hobbies, or joining online communities (with healthy boundaries!). Let’s grow together in love and community!Â

Wednesday Nov 13, 2024
Wednesday Nov 13, 2024
Tonight, Terry shared a powerful message, “There’s an Enemy in the Camp,” focusing on Joshua’s journey of obedience (Joshua 6-8). We explored how hidden sins and disobedience can block God’s plans and blessings, reminding us that we’re set apart for Him. Just like the Israelites at Ai, we’re called to identify, remove, and repent of anything that distances us from God’s presence. Our walk with God thrives when we lean on His wisdom and timing, even in the small things. Let’s stay connected to Him daily, trusting His plans over ours! Listen back for a deeper dive into this transformative message. #Obedience #FaithJourney #TrustInGod #RemoveTheEnemy

Waiting On God Series: Ch. 11 -10.30.24
Wednesday Oct 30, 2024
Wednesday Oct 30, 2024
We wrapped up our series on *Waiting on God* by Wayne Stiles with Chapter 11, diving into what it truly means to wait on God’s perfect timing and purpose (Ps. 27:13-14). Life’s challenges may not change immediately, but our perspective and attitude can shift when we praise God in the waiting! Joseph’s journey reminded us that God is with us in every valley and mountaintop. Even if life feels uncertain, remember: God’s plan is greater, and He is constantly working for us (Jer. 29:11). Let’s endure, stay faithful, and trust God to finish the good work He started in us (Phil. 1:6). Listen back for more encouragement on trusting God in every season! #WaitingOnGod #EndureAndTrust #FaithfulJourney #GodIsWithYou

Life Lessons: Is God's Love Unconditional? -10.23.24
Wednesday Oct 23, 2024
Wednesday Oct 23, 2024
Tonight, we had the privilege of hearing from guest speaker Sharon Hall on the question: *Is God’s Love Unconditional?* We explored 1 John 4:7-8 and the meaning of Agape—God’s unconditional love. We discussed how love is an action (1 John 3:18) and how it demands obedience (1 John 5:3). God’s love is limitless, but He doesn’t love everything we do. Yet, He loves us so much that He provides a way for redemption, no matter our past. Let’s be God’s light in the world by loving others—our enemies included—the way God loves them. Wednesday Oct 02, 2024
✨**Hey J-Fam!** ✨ Â
We continued our "Waiting on God" series with Chapter 8: *A Long Resolution* (Gen. 44:34), reflecting on how hard it can be to wait for God’s promises. Sometimes, we get so lost in the struggle that we miss the small victories and everyday blessings. But God is always working, even when we can’t see it. 🙌
Joseph waited 22 years for his dream to come true, and God used that time to mold his heart. Just like Joseph, we need to focus on God, trust His timing, and find joy in the small things.Â
When we focus on others and serve in the present, we’re preparing ourselves for God’s greater plans. Don’t rush the process—let God work in your waiting! ❤️

Waiting on God Series: Ch. 7 - 9.25.24
Wednesday Sep 25, 2024
Wednesday Sep 25, 2024
Tonight, we delved into chapter 7 of "Waiting on God." The chapter underscores that God takes the first move in our lives because He first loved us. When God tests our faith, it often comes unexpectedly, revealing our blind spots and helping us become who God wants us to be. We also revisited the story of Joseph, emphasizing the importance of resting in God's way and being intentional about spending time with Him to realize our purpose and identity. The waiting period has a purpose; it prepares us for what's coming. God always provides a way of escape when tempted and waits for us to respond to His offer of a changed life.
