Discipleship: How to become a Disciple? - 8.23.23

Hey there, J-Fam. We continued our series on Discipleship. Terry led us in the discussion of "How to become a disciple?" We discussed how becoming a disciple of Jesus is a challenging but immensely rewarding decision. Remember, God has called you and will guide you every step of the way. Let your heart be open to His call and count the cost of following Him. Don't become complacent; embrace the tests and challenges on your journey. Ponder this: Will you be miserable running from God or miserable with God? Trust and surrender to God, for He is building something beautiful in and through you. If you are in a test or trial, recall past victories and continue to walk hand-in-hand with God. Keep your focus on Him, not the trials or situations. As we die to ourselves and put God first, we will experience His peace. Remember, trying to do everything in our own strength only leads to suffering. Let's embrace the adventure and let God's power work in us!
