Love is...Week 2-2.15.23

Love is… week two discussion did not disappoint. Demetrius shared the struggle and scriptures about denying ourselves, loving and restoring others, maturing in God, and love blockers (wrong motives, self-sufficiency vs. God-focused, God-oriented, wrong mindset, and immaturity).  

Highlights: Love is a standard; God wants us to be willing, cooperative, and participate in God’s love and His Will. When did God stop being the God of all? The same grace abounds to us and abounds to others, and we need to be able to give it to others. Check my heart and barriers. Love has to be constant and consistent. Love is work and can be painful. Everything is better together, and we must encourage and strengthen one another.

The Holy Spirit is our teacher and wants to teach us. If you do not know how to love, when to love, or need development, ask the teacher to teach, help, guide, and comfort you while you learn.
