Hey J-Fam,
We continued our series in Romans and discussed Romans 5:1-11 and 4:11-25 which discussed that true faith knows the importance of endurance and the maturation of our faith. We have the strength to endure because God is faithful and working on our behalf. Through Jesus, we are reconciled, justified, and restored. His free gift of salvation is undeserved yet made available to all. We can be confident in our hope because God will do what He said He would do. Let's focus not only on being touched by God but also on abiding in His presence and touching Him. Let's embrace the process, endure with patience, and be transformed into vessels of strength and character. 🙌💪 #EnduranceInFaith #TransformedByHope #AbidingInHisPresence

Hello J-Fam! We had a great discussion tonight about some powerful messages in the Bible. We talked about 1 Corinthians 15:1-11, Jeremiah 29:11-13, and Romans 1:1-17. The main takeaway was that God is always with us when we pray, even when we feel distant from Him. We also talked about how belonging to a community of believers, recognizing our debt to Christ, and obediently following His will can significantly impact our lives. One key point was how praying for others can change our perspectives and transform us. These verses reminded us that God’s love for us is immeasurable, and His glory reveals His greatness, honor, and manifestation. By listening attentively, believing wholeheartedly, accepting humbly, obeying faithfully, and following God’s will, we can live a life that glorifies Him and find triumph, prosperity, and a greater purpose in salvation. Remember, we received the good news message in God’s way and must continue to believe it.

Discipleship: How to become a Disciple? - 8.23.23
Wednesday Aug 23, 2023
Wednesday Aug 23, 2023
Hey there, J-Fam. We continued our series on Discipleship. Terry led us in the discussion of "How to become a disciple?" We discussed how becoming a disciple of Jesus is a challenging but immensely rewarding decision. Remember, God has called you and will guide you every step of the way. Let your heart be open to His call and count the cost of following Him. Don't become complacent; embrace the tests and challenges on your journey. Ponder this: Will you be miserable running from God or miserable with God? Trust and surrender to God, for He is building something beautiful in and through you. If you are in a test or trial, recall past victories and continue to walk hand-in-hand with God. Keep your focus on Him, not the trials or situations. As we die to ourselves and put God first, we will experience His peace. Remember, trying to do everything in our own strength only leads to suffering. Let's embrace the adventure and let God's power work in us! Scriptures we discussed tonight Matthew 4:18-22, 28:19-20; Mark 1:16-20; 2 Chronicles 16:9; Jeremiah 17:9-10; Luke 15:25-27,33; Matthew 16:24-26; Luke 9:23; and Matt. 14:22-32. As always, you can watch or listen back! We love you and are praying for you!
