"Underdog yet Undeterred: David vs. Goliath!!" We discussed the difference in material or physical versus Spiritual posture! Mindset and remembering God is the same God on the mountain as he is in the valley and so much more! Scriptures Romans 8:26-31; 1 Samuel 17:4-11, 20-26, & 2 Cor. 4:6-10.

Rest and Enjoyment of Life -10.26.22

Tonight was another great discussion. We discussed the importance of "Rest and Enjoyment of Life." We reflected on how many hours we sleep each night and how much time we spend on the things we enjoy. Look at the definition of "rest" and the scriptures Psalms 23 and Mark 6:31-32. We were challenged to assess the areas where we need God's rest and what is drowning out God in our lives.

Encouragement is this week to spend time doing what you enjoy doing. We have only one life on this earth. Live it Full Out!!

Do You Want To Get Well? John 5:1-14

We had another great discussion tonight. As we unpacked John 5:1-8,14, we discussed Faith vs. Reality Mindset or creating a faith filter... We discussed the struggle to find strength when distracted by the world! The importance of community and so much more!! You want to make time and listen as many people shared their experiences and stories!! Love you all and praying for you!!

Psalm 1:1-3- 10.12.22

We had a fantastic discussion tonight. We started with Psalm 1:1-3, and the discussion took off. Some of the questions discussed were what protection is given to the blessed, the meaning of blessed, prosperous, and meditation? Other questions for reflection: what am I called to, what am I called from, where do I spend my time, what areas have I allowed my leaves to become withered, and why am I not blessed?

Tonight we discussed "The Good Work: It's Only Just Begun & Yet Continues" We discussed the need to learn to accept being comfortable with being uncomfortable. The beauty and power of being a resurrected creation of God. Key Scriptures Philippians 1:6, James 1:2-4, Romans 5:1-5, & 2 Peter 1:2-9.

B. Good word doesn't mean "feel good" work- Romans 5:1-5

C. Your good work season leads to your optimal success- 2 Peter 1:2-9. 

Healing (Luke 4:16-23) 09.28.22

Tonight we discussed the impact of a simple act of kindness and the power of prayer. Then we heard from Pastor Shun Strickland from Fellowship of Champions about healing by unpacking Luke 4:16-23 KJV.

Leaving Egypt Ex. 14:1-14

We discussed Exodus 14:1-14 and looked at the story of the Israelites leaving Egypt and how we can relate, learn, and do better. The homework is to Let God fight your fight! If you are struggling with surrendering control, look back and find out why!

Be Willing To Process (Psalms 37:23-24) 09.07.22

In tonight's discussion, we looked at Psalms 37:23-24. 

The process looks different for everyone, but if you do the work, you will get the results. We discussed how fear, control, trust, and failure contribute to us not submitting to God's process. The challenge was to submit to the process with God and see what happens in the next 30 days. Homework: 2 Cor. 12:1-10.
